Yanakie. (This is our local town.)

Free Tennis Court with BBQs and tourist info boards next to Yanakie Community Hall. No bookings needed.

Yanakie General Store is now a small supermarket and offers good value items including fuel, alcohol, fishing license and gear, and general groceries

Fish Creek. (This town is 20 minutes’ drive from your cabin)

Apart from a good range of shops this town features a lovely Flora Reserve where you could perhaps eat your take always, tourist information, a District Historical Museum, the Stockyard Gallery and regular markets. There’s also a 2km walk up to Mount Nicoll Lookout and other walks.

Sandy Point. (20 minutes’ drive from your cabin)

The main attraction here is the patrolled moderate surf beach, Boat hire is at Sandy Point, as is mini-golf.

Toora. (30 minutes’ drive from your cabin)

Meeniyan. (33 minutes’ drive from your cabin)
